BEL Opens Recruitment for Deputy Manager Roles in Missile Systems Unit

NEW DELHI: State-owned defence electronics major Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has invited applications for Deputy Manager (E-IV) positions at its Missile Systems Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in Bengaluru. The recruitment is being conducted on a permanent basis, according to an official notification issued by the Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence.

BEL is hiring for two unreserved posts, one each in Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) and Aerodynamics, both requiring candidates with specialised backgrounds in aerospace and aeronautical engineering.

Key Eligibility Criteria

For the GNC role, applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, while the Aerodynamics position requires a degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering. Candidates must have first-class academic records.

The upper age limit is 36 years as on January 1, 2026, with relaxations applicable for OBC (NCL), SC/ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) as per government norms.

In terms of experience, BEL requires a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification industrial experience for BE/BTech holders and 6 years for ME/MTech candidates. Teaching, academic research, internships, and trainee engagements will not be counted as valid experience.

Pay and Benefits

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹60,000–₹1,80,000 with annual increments of 3%. The compensation package also includes dearness allowance, house rent allowance, performance-related pay, medical benefits, provident fund, gratuity, superannuation pension, and group insurance, in line with BEL rules.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve a written examination followed by an interview. The written test will carry 85% weightage, while the interview will account for 15%. Candidates qualifying the written test will be shortlisted for interviews in a 1:7 ratio.

Application Details

Interested candidates must apply offline by downloading the application form from www.bel-india.in and sending the completed form along with supporting documents to BEL’s Bengaluru address.

The application fee is ₹600 plus GST for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, payable through SBI Collect. SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee.

The last date for receipt of applications is February 8, 2026.

BEL stated that it reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies and selection criteria based on organisational requirements.
