Government has opened applications for filling up the post of Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAО) (DS/Director level) in Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (Non-CSS post) on deputation basis under D/o Personnel and Training.

It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of applications for this post till 19.02.2026. Nominations are to be routed through DOPT online interface.

Officers of the rank of Deputy Secretary/Director level from the All-India Services or any Organized Services of the Government of India, eligible for appointment at DS/Director level under the Central Staffing Scheme, who have knowledge of Budget and Accounts works, are eligible for the above-said post. The period of deputation would be 4 to 5 years at Deputy Secretary/Director level, respectively.

The above post may be circulated amongst officers eligible to be appointed at Deputy Secretary/Director or equivalent level in the Government of India under Central Staffing Scheme on priority basis. Names of willing and eligible officers, who can be spared by the State Governments/Ministries/Departments, may be recommended to this office along with Cadre clearance, Vigilance clearance, detailed bio-data (through SUPREMO link: https://supremo.nic.in).

For the officers working in the cadre, it may also be ensured that the 'Cooling off' after a previous stint on deputation, if any, is completed and the officer is eligible to be appointed on Central deputation as per instructions.

Applications of eligible officers, who are currently on deputation outside the parent cadre, are required to be forwarded by their administrative Ministry/Department/Cadre Controlling Authorities with the approval of their respective Minister-in-Charge.
