New Delh: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited has invited applications for one post of Group General Manager or General Manager in the Finance Department at its Corporate Office in New Delhi on a deputation basis.
The vacancy has been notified under Vacancy Notice No DEP 03 of 2026 and is open to eligible officers from Indian Railways, Railway Production Units, Railway Training Institutes, and Railway Public Sector Undertakings. IRCTC is a Navratna public sector enterprise under the Government of India.
The position will be filled at the Group General Manager level in E8 or the General Manager level in E7, depending on eligibility. The deputation tenure will be for three years or until IRCTC is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption, whichever is earlier.
The selected officer will be responsible for overseeing finance operations at the corporate level and coordinating financial functions across IRCTC zonal offices. Key responsibilities include preparation and finalisation of accounts, handling audits including CAG and statutory audits, managing memorandums of understanding, revenue and capital budgeting, banking and insurance, taxation, catering finance operations, and recovery of outstanding dues.
Applicants must belong to the Indian Railway Accounts Service or equivalent and will be entitled to parent pay along with deputation allowance and other benefits as per IRCTC policy. Officers with exposure to information technology and relevant finance experience will be given preference.
For the Group General Manager post, candidates should be below 58 years of age as on the closing date. For the General Manager post, the age limit is below 56 years. Eligibility and age will be reckoned as on the closing date of the vacancy notice.
