MRVC Recruitment 2026: Deputy Chief S&T Engineer Post, Last Date Extended
Mumbai: Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has extended the closing date for its ongoing recruitment drive for the post of Deputy Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer on deputation basis.
As per Vacancy Notice No. 02/2026, issued under Notification No. MRVC/E/65/2026, the revised deadline for submission of applications is 15 March 2026. The original notification was released on 13 January 2026.
About the Vacancy
MRVC is seeking to fill one post of Deputy Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer at its Mumbai office. The position is open to experienced officers from the Signal & Telecommunication (S&T) Department of Indian Railways and Railway PSUs.
The appointment will be made on a deputation basis for a maximum duration of five years, subject to applicable rules. Selected candidates will continue to draw their parent pay along with Deputation (Duty) Allowance as per existing norms.
Eligibility Criteria

Officers of S&T Department of Indian Railways/Railway PSUs
-
SG/JAG level officers
-
Age not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date
-
Technical knowledge of conventional and modern S&T systems
-
Experience in Mumbai Suburban Railway or Railway PSUs preferred
