Essential Eligibility Criteria

For HEMM Operator Posts:

• Matriculate (Class 10) passed from a recognized board with minimum marks (55% for UR/EWS, 50% for OBC-NCL, 45% for SC/ST).

• Must possess a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV)/Transport License as of the cut-off date (May 1, 2026).

For Staff Nurse:

• 10+2, B.Sc. Nursing or GNM from a recognized institute, with valid registration from a State Nursing Council.

For Pharmacist:

• 10+2 with Science, Diploma in Pharmacy, and valid registration with the Pharmacy Council.

For Overseer (Civil):

• Matriculation and a recognized Diploma in Civil Engineering (3-year course).

Age Limit (as on May 1, 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 30 years for General/EWS candidates.

• Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, 10-15 years for PwBD, and for Ex-Servicemen (service period + 3 years). Departmental candidates of CIL subsidiaries have no upper age limit.

Application Fee

• UR/OBC-NCL/EWS: Rs. 1180/- (Rs. 1000 + 18% GST)

• SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/Departmental Candidates: Nil

Note: The fee is non-refundable and payable only through online mode.

Selection Process

The selection will be based solely on a Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks (90 minutes duration). There is no negative marking.

• For HEMM Operators: Common paper on Traffic Rules, Machine Knowledge, General Awareness, and Math.

• For Paramedical & Overseer: Paper consists of 70 marks for Technical Knowledge (Section A) and 30 marks for General Awareness, Reasoning, and Aptitude (Section B).

• Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% for UR/EWS and 40% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwBD.

Candidates who score above the cut-off will be called for document verification. Final merit lists will be published on the NCL website.
