New Delhi, June 16, 2026: State-owned Coal India Ltd (CIL) has announced the appointment of M/s Bandyopadhyaya Bhaumik & Co., Cost Accountants, as the cost auditor for the financial year 2026-27.

The appointment was approved by the company's Board of Directors at its meeting held on June 16, 2026, following the recommendation of the Audit Committee.

According to the regulatory filing, there has been no change in the cost auditor for FY27 compared with FY26. The appointment is for conducting the cost audit of Coal India's standalone operations.

Founded in 1994, Bandyopadhyaya Bhaumik & Co. is a cost and management accounting firm with more than three decades of experience. The firm provides services including cost audit, internal audit, management audit, risk management and system audit, and has worked with several leading Maharatna and Navratna public sector companies.
