NBCC Bags New Orders Worth Rs 20.92 Crore from Chennai Port Authority and Power Grid
New Delhi, June 16, 2026: State-owned NBCC (India) Limited has secured new work orders worth approximately Rs 20.92 crore in the ordinary course of business, according to a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges on Tuesday.
The company said the orders comprise two project management consultancy assignments awarded by domestic entities.
The first contract, valued at around Rs 8.48 crore (excluding GST), has been awarded by the Chennai Port Authority. The project involves improvement works to the Medical and Surgical Blocks of ChPA Hospital located at Chennai Port, Chennai.
The second order, worth approximately Rs 12.44 crore (excluding GST), has been awarded by Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. Under the contract, NBCC will undertake the construction of a 150-bedded Vishram Sadan at the Government General Hospital in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
According to the filing, both contracts have been awarded by domestic entities and fall within the normal course of business of the company.
NBCC stated that neither the promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entities awarding the contracts, and the projects do not constitute related-party transactions.
With these latest awards, NBCC continues to strengthen its order pipeline in the healthcare and infrastructure segments.
