NLC India Invites Applications for Airport Director Post at Neyveli

Tamil Nadu – 12 March 2026: NLC India Limited, a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise, has announced the engagement of an Airport Director on Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis for its upcoming airport operations in Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. The position is open for a tenure of two years, offering a consolidated monthly pay of ₹90,000.

Eligibility and Qualification

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in the aviation industry, including a minimum of 5 years in airport operations, air traffic services, or DGCA licensing functions. Preference will be given to officers with experience in E6 grade or above in defense services.

Language Requirements: Applicants should be proficient in Tamil, English, and Hindi, and must be willing to travel for liaison work with statutory bodies such as DGCA, BCAS, and IMD.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for the post is 63 years for unreserved and EWS candidates, with no relaxation for OBC, SC, or ST candidates against the unreserved vacancy.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a personal interview evaluated on a 20-mark scale, with a minimum qualifying score of 50% (10 marks). Shortlisting may include a screening test if the response is high. In case of a tie, seniority by age and alphabetical order of first names will be used as tie-breakers.
