New Delhi, 28th January 2026: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has invited applications for the top leadership position of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) at Troop Comforts Limited (TCL), a Schedule 'B' Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Defence.
TCL, headquartered in Kanpur, operates four production units across India and specializes in manufacturing uniforms, tents, jackets, footwear, and other essential gear for defence personnel, employing nearly 47,300 staff.

Role & Responsibilities:
The CMD will serve as the Chief Executive, responsible for strategic leadership, business development, modernization, and enhancing defence production in the textile and leather sectors. The role involves close coordination with the Department of Defence Production, armed forces, DRDO, state governments, and financial institutions.
Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: 45 years (with residual service of 2 years for internal candidates and 3 years for others)

Employment Status: Must be a regular employee in a CPSE, Central/State Government (Group 'A'), SPSE, or private sector company with an annual turnover of ₹750 crore or more.

Educational Qualification: Engineering Graduate, Chartered/Cost Accountant, Post Graduate, or Graduate with MBA/PGDIM from a leading institute.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in the last 10 years in areas like Finance, Business Development, Production, Marketing, or Project Management. Experience in the textile, leather, or clothing industry is preferred.
