New Delhi, December 27, 2025:
Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power, has invited online applications for the engagement of experienced Company Secretary professionals on a fixed-term contract basis for its subsidiaries and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) companies.

The recruitment drive is being conducted under Advertisement No. CC/07/2025, dated December 10, 2025. POWERGRID has announced a total of 48 vacancies, including 27 immediate openings and 21 future anticipated vacancies, across various categories. Eligibility and Experience

Applicants must be Associate Members of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and should have at least one year of post-qualification experience in company secretarial work in a listed or unlisted company. Internship or training experience will not be considered.

The maximum age limit is 29 years as on the last date of application, with applicable relaxations for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Tenure and Growth Opportunity

The engagement will initially be for two years, with the possibility of extension on a year-to-year basis up to a maximum of five years, depending on performance and organizational requirements. POWERGRID has also indicated that eligible fixed-term employees may be given an opportunity to apply for regular posts through an internal selection process after completing the required tenure.

Compensation and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration starting at ₹30,000, with an annual CTC of approximately ₹9.96 lakh. The compensation package includes allowances, medical benefits, PF, gratuity, insurance coverage, leave benefits, and a retention bonus of ₹20,000 every six months.

Selection Process

Selection will be based primarily on personal interview. However, POWERGRID may conduct a screening test if required, purely for shortlisting purposes. The final selection will be made based on interview performance and medical fitness as per company standards.
