New Delhi, February 11, 2026: The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Railways, has issued Vacancy Notice No. 04/2026 inviting applications for multiple engineering posts on deputation basis across key locations including Ahmedabad and Mumbai.
The notification dated February 10, 2026, comes as RLDA continues to expand its land development and station redevelopment projects across India.
Key Posts Announced
RLDA is seeking applications for the following positions:
Joint General Manager (Civil) / Deputy General Manager (Civil)

Location: Ahmedabad (01 post)

Pay Level: Level-13 (JGM) / Level-12 (DGM)

Tenure: 5 years (3 years + 2 years extendable)

Eligibility: Officers from IRSE or equivalent Civil Engineering cadres with requisite Group ‘A’ service and degree in Civil Engineering.
Joint General Manager / Deputy General Manager (MEPF)

Location: Ahmedabad (01 post)

Pay Level: Level-13 / Level-12

Background: Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Desirable experience includes HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, plumbing, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Eligibility: Civil Engineering degree/diploma holders with prescribed years of service in relevant cadres.
Terms and Benefits
All appointments will be on normal deputation terms for a period of five years (3+2). RLDA has stated that one scale higher than the parent grade may be granted up to Pay Level-12 or deputation allowance where applicable.
Selected officers may also avail railway accommodation and passes (for railway officers), liberal lease facilities including self-lease, conveyance allowance or official vehicle, medical facilities, soft furnishing allowance, electricity allowance, and other benefits.
Pan-India Requirement
Although current vacancies are in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, RLDA clarified that manpower requirements are pan-India and may vary depending on project needs. Ongoing projects are located in cities such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Chennai, Lucknow, Nagpur and Secunderabad.
