Rishikesh, February 20, 2026: THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a Schedule 'A' Mini Ratna Public Sector Undertaking, has invited online applications for engagement of Physiotherapists on Fixed Tenure/Purely Short-Term Basis. The company is looking for bright, dedicated, and result-oriented candidates with good academic records to join its healthcare team.

Essential Qualification:

Master of Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal Disorders and Sports (MTP-MSS) OR
-
Master of Physiotherapy in Neurological and Psychosomatic Disorders (MPT-NPD)

Degree must be from a recognized and reputed University/Institute on Full-Time and Regular basis
Experience Requirements:

The Selection Committee will assess candidates based on their profile, experience, and overall suitability, and recommend positioning at either Level III or Level IV subject to meeting respective criteria.
Important Note on Experience:

Apprenticeship training under The Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in relevant field will be treated as work experience

Experience as Management Trainee/Executive Trainee/Engineer Trainee/Graduate Engineer Trainee will NOT be treated as work experience

Internship, academic roles such as teaching, research work, JRF/SRF, PhD scholar, or project work during graduation/post-graduation/PhD will NOT be treated as work experience

Shortlisting Process:
The number of candidates to be considered for filling up vacancies will normally be approximately five times the number of vacancies. Shortlisting for Personal Interview will be based on Merit/Marks obtained in educational qualifications with the following weightage:

Remuneration and Benefits:
Fixed Remuneration:

Leave Entitlements:

12 Casual Leaves and 02 Optional Leaves per year

15 days Earned Leave per year (credited monthly on pro-rata basis), encashable during or at end of engagement

Maternity Leaves as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 for female FTBs

Special Additional Leave (SAL): 12/22 days per year for those posted at Projects/Plants (encashable within one month of completion of one-year contract)

Compensatory off for shift duties on weekly offs/festival/national holidays

Extra Ordinary Leave up to one month for illness/medical emergency and up to 15 days for other extreme compelling situations
Medical Facility:

OPD: Medical facility to self, spouse and two dependent children limited to maximum of one-month Fixed Remuneration per year

IPD: Medical Insurance with sum assurance up to ₹5 Lakhs per annum for self and family
Insurance Coverage:

Group Personal Accidental Insurance Scheme (GPAIS): ₹6 Lakhs coverage

Additional Insurance at Non-Family Stations: ₹15 Lakhs coverage

Employees' Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI): Maximum sum assurance of ₹7 Lakhs
Tenure of Engagement:

Initial engagement for 1 year on Fixed Tenure/Purely Short-Term Basis

Can be extended on yearly basis for additional 3 years in stages based on performance and requirement

Total period of engagement not to be extended beyond 4 years in any circumstances

Engagement will terminate automatically on completion of tenure if no further extension is allowed

No vested right to claim regularization or permanent absorption

Service Agreement to be entered into with THDCIL as per prescribed proforma
