Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Singrauli, has been awarded the Second Position in the prestigious 19th National Awards for Excellence in Cost Management – 2024, under the category Manufacturing – Public – Mega, by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
Coal India Limited (CIL), the holding company of NCL, secured the First Prize in the same category – Manufacturing – Public – Mega. Adding further glory, Director (Finance), CIL Shri Mukesh Agrawal was honoured with the Best CFO Award under the same category, reflecting the exemplary financial leadership.

Director (Finance), NCL Shri Rajneesh Narain received the award on behalf of the NCL in a ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, in the presence of distinguished dignitaries and industry leaders. Dy. GM (Finance) and TS to D(F), NCL Shri Rajesh Kumar was also present on the occasion.
