TVS Motor Company Hits 1 Million Production Milestone in Indonesia
New Delhi, February 18, 2026: TVS Motor Company has achieved a significant milestone by reaching 1 million units of cumulative production in Indonesia, marking 19 years of manufacturing operations in the country.
The company commenced operations in Indonesia in 2006, and since then, its facility has played a strategic role in serving both domestic and international markets.

The company operates an integrated production facility at the Surya Cipta Industrial Estate in East Karawang, West Java, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 units. The facility manages the full production cycle, including engine assembly, spare parts manufacturing, painting, and product testing.

Commenting on the milestone, James Chan, Senior Vice President, ASEAN Business, stated that Indonesia plays a strategic role as one of TVS’ global manufacturing hubs, with locally produced vehicles meeting stringent international standards.
Expanding Domestic Network
In addition to strengthening manufacturing capabilities, TVS Motor Company Indonesia has expanded its domestic sales and service network. The company currently operates 49 dealerships across Java, Bali, Lombok, Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi.
It also supports customers through Spare Part TVS Online, covering over 4,882 districts across Indonesia, ensuring wide after-sales service access.
Contribution to Indonesia’s Automotive Ecosystem
Beyond production volumes, the company highlighted its contribution to job creation, technology transfer, and collaboration with local suppliers and dealer partners. The company has been a member of AISI (Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association) since March 2010.
