KIOCL's Mangaluru Plant Unit Receives 'Outstanding Official Language Implementation Award'
The 76th Half-Yearly Meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC), Mangaluru, and the Commendation Award Distribution Ceremony was held on Monday, 28th July 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Conference Hall of Union Bank’s Zonal Office. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Rajendra Kumar, Chairperson, TOLIC Mangaluru, and Head of the Zonal Office, Union Bank of India, Mangaluru.
As the Chief Guest, Mr. Anirban Kumar Biswas, Deputy Director (Implementation), Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, reviewed the status of official language implementation across government offices, undertakings, autonomous bodies, and banks, and conferred the 'Outstanding Official Language Implementation Award' to KIOCL Limited’s Mangaluru Plant Unit. The meeting was efficiently conducted by Mr. Krishna Yadav, Chief Manager, Union Bank of India.

In this 76th Half-Yearly Meeting of TOLIC, the “Outstanding Official Language Implementation Award” was received on behalf of KIOCL by Mr. P. Palani, Chief General Manager In-charge, Mangaluru. Representing the award-winning OL team from KIOCL Limited, Mr. Chetan Kumar Shetty, Nodal Officer (Official Language) and Assistant General Manager (HR & IR), along with Mr. Rupesh Kumar, Official Language Coordinator and Assistant Manager (HR), graciously marked their presence during the felicitation ceremony.
The recognition of the Mangaluru Plant Unit of KIOCL with the Outstanding Official Language Implementation Award created a wave of positivity among the top management and employees. Senior executives extended heartfelt congratulations to the personnel involved in the implementation of the Official Language, especially the Official Language Department, for this achievement.
