The 57th Raising Day of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was celebrated with enthusiasm and dignity at the Gevra area of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL). The event was attended by SECL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Harish Duhan as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Duhan praised the dedication and discipline of CISF personnel, highlighting their crucial role in safeguarding major industrial establishments across the country. He said that CISF plays an essential role in ensuring the security of critical industrial assets through vigilance, commitment, and professionalism.
He further noted that CISF’s presence at coal mines and industrial facilities helps maintain a safe working environment, which is vital for smooth operations and productivity in strategic sectors such as mining and energy.
During the ceremony, CISF personnel presented an impressive march past and parade, along with security demonstrations showcasing their operational preparedness and capabilities.
Senior officials also attended the event, including CISF Deputy Inspector General Nirvikar and SECL Gevra Area General Manager A K Tyagi, along with other officers from the region and headquarters.
