NLC India CMD Prasanna Kumar Motupalli Receives Pride of Telangana Award in Hyderabad
Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, Chairman and Managing Director of NLC India Limited, has been conferred the prestigious “Pride of Telangana” Award during the 4th Telangana Public Relations Conference and National Public Relations Day celebrations.
The event was organised by the Public Relations Society of India, Hyderabad Chapter, and held in Hyderabad on April 19, 2026.
Award Presented by Industry Leaders
The honour was presented by K. Sreenivas Reddy, Ch. Priyanka, and K. Nageswar in recognition of Motupalli’s leadership and contributions to the energy sector.

A native of Bhadrachalam, Motupalli expressed his happiness at receiving the award in his home state and dedicated the honour to the employees of NLC India Limited for their continued support and commitment.
Recognising Leadership in Energy and Sustainability
The award acknowledges his role in advancing lignite mining, thermal power generation, renewable energy expansion, sustainability, innovation, and corporate governance at NLC India.
Under his leadership, the company currently supplies around 400 MW of power to the Telugu states, contributing significantly to regional energy security and economic growth.
