NHSRCL Gets Senior IRSE Officer Ravi Sharma as AGM/JGM (Civil)
New Delhi: The Ministry of Railways has approved the deputation of Shri Ravi Sharma, an Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer, to the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) as Assistant General Manager/Joint General Manager (Civil) at New Delhi.
According to an order issued by the Railway Board, the appointment will be for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Experienced IRSE Officer Joins NHSRCL
Ravi Sharma, born on December 2, 1986, was formerly serving as Deputy Director General (MR Section) in the Railway Board. His deputation to NHSRCL comes as the organization continues to advance India's ambitious high-speed rail infrastructure projects.
The officer will be stationed in New Delhi and will continue to draw pay and allowances as admissible under Railway rules, along with deputation allowance as per Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) guidelines.
Appointment Subject to Standard Deputation Terms
Under the approved terms:

Tenure of deputation will be five years.

Pay and allowances will be governed by existing Railway and DoPT rules.

Leave and retirement benefits will continue under Railway service regulations.

Medical facilities, travel allowances, and group insurance benefits will be provided as per applicable provisions.
The Railway Board has also clarified that if the officer does not return to Railway service within one month after completion of the deputation tenure, it will be deemed that he has resigned from Railway service.

The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) is responsible for implementing India's high-speed rail projects, including the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor. The induction of experienced railway officers is aimed at strengthening the execution and management of these strategically important infrastructure initiatives.
