Shri. Rakesh Kumar Former CMD NLCIL Honoured at Maharshi Dayanand University Golden Jubilee by CJI Justice Surya Kant

New Delhi: Shri. Rakesh Kumar Former CMD, NLC India Ltd. ,Former Chairman, SCOPE (2019–21) was honoured by on 14 feb 2016 Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak, where fifty distinguished alumni from the past five decades were felicitated for their contributions in diverse fields including judiciary, civil services, academia, public sector, business, medicine, sports and literature.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Justice Surya Kant, an eminent alumnus of MDU and the first person from Haryana to reach the highest judicial office of the country. I had the privilege of receiving the “Certificate of Honour” from the CJI for my contributions to the Public Sector as Chairman & Managing Director of NLC India Limited (Navratna CPSE), marked by strategic governance, operational excellence and national development.

It was a proud moment to represent the Public Sector fraternity at such a prestigious platform, especially during the University’s Golden Jubilee year. I remain grateful to the Vice Chancellor, faculty members and organisers for this recognition and for their warm hospitality.
