Mumbai: Bank of Maharashtra has informed stock exchanges about a one-day bank strike proposed for September 11, 2026 by seven trade unions over their demands.

The unions named in the bank's disclosure are AIBEA, AIBOC, NCBE, AIBOA, BEFI, INBEF and INBOC.

Bank of Maharashtra said it is taking necessary steps to ensure the smooth functioning of its branches and offices on the proposed strike day. However, the bank cautioned that branch and office operations may be affected if the strike takes place.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
