New Delhi: Public sector lender, Central Bank of India has inaugurated its first dedicated NRI Desk at the sector 17B branch in Chandigarh on November 20, 2025.
The desk was inaugurated by Mr. Vasti Venkatesh, General Manager, International Division, Mumbai, in the presence of Mr. Arvind Kumar, Zonal Head, Chandigarh, Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Regional Head, Chandigarh, Mr. T.C. Meena Deputy Zonal Head and Mr. Anantpreet Singh, Branch Head, Sector 17B.
The initiative has focused to provide specialized banking services to Non-Resident Indians, streamlining processes and reducing turnaround time.
The desk offers comprehensive NRE/NRO account services, remittances, investment support, regulatory assistance, and technology-enabled banking solutions, reinforcing Central Bank of India’s commitment to service excellence and customer-centricity.
