New Delhi | December 2025 Central Bank of India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with State Bank of India (SBI) to build a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening leadership and institutional capabilities in project financing in India.

 

The collaboration will open new avenues for co-financing of large projects, capacity building, and sharing of institutional knowledge and expertise between the two public sector banks. The initiative is expected to enhance efficiency in project appraisal, risk management, and execution of infrastructure and development projects across sectors.

The MoU was signed by Shri A. D. Shrinivas, General Manager, Central Bank of India, and Smt. Shashi Prabha, General Manager, State Bank of India, marking a significant step toward deeper cooperation between the two lenders.
