Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) in Canara Bank on full-time basis.

The Last date for submitting the completed online application is July 21, 2025 by 5:00 pm IST.

The applicant should be in the age group of 45 to 57 years as on June 23, 2025, and should have at least 15 years of mainstream banking experience, of which at least one year should at the Board Level as on June 23, 2025.

The assignment shall be for an initial term of three years and may be extended based on performance, subject to the normal age of superannuation of 60 years and as per the provisions of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970 & 1980.

The Selection will be based on Shortlisting and Personal Interview. Applications received shall be scrutinised and shortlisted for interview based on experience and eligibility conditions. Final selection of the candidates will be done by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB).
