HDFC Bank responds to false allegations by trustees of Lilavati Trust against Bank and its MD and CEO
HDFC Bank, issued a response to the false allegations against the bank and its Managing Director and CEO by the trustees of Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust.
New Delhi, June 12, 2025: India's Private lender, HDFC Bank, issued a media statement on June 11, 2025, mentioning its response to the false allegations against the bank and its Managing Director and CEO by the trustees of Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust (LKMMT).
It is stated that the trust has alleged the bank repeated false, malicious, and defamatory allegations; however, the bank denied the allegations. The bank, in its favour, said that the allegations and insinuations made by the trustees are devoid of any iota of truth whatsoever. Neither the Bank nor its MD & CEO have engaged in any activity that is illegal, unethical or improper.
