Indian Bank Enables CBSE Fee Payments via Payment Gateway with UPI and Net Banking Support
New Delhi, June 3, 2026: Indian Bank has announced the successful implementation of a payment gateway solution designed to facilitate secure online fee payments for students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The initiative enables students and parents to make payments through multiple digital channels including UPI, internet banking, debit cards, and credit cards issued by all banks.
According to the bank, more than 5,000 customers holding accounts with various banks have already used the payment gateway service to complete fee transactions.
Digital Banking Push
With this development, Indian Bank continues to strengthen its digital banking infrastructure and expand its role in facilitating seamless government and institutional payments through secure online platforms.
The payment gateway is aimed at improving convenience, reducing manual processes, and ensuring faster fee settlement for CBSE-related transactions.
Customer Adoption
The bank highlighted early adoption of the platform, noting that thousands of users have already successfully completed transactions across different banking channels. The system supports interoperability, allowing users from any bank to participate in the payment process.
