Chennai, 10th March 2025: Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) inaugurated 3 new branches today, each one in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.  These branches will offer a comprehensive range of banking services like accounts, deposits and loans including savings and current accounts etc.,

During the financial year 2024-25, the bank added 38 branches and the bank now has 880 branches.

The new branches that were opened today:

  1. 878th Branch - Ongole (Andhra Pradesh) - inaugurated by Dr. Koduru Venkateswara Rao, Commissioner, Ongole Municipal Corporation 

  2. 879th Branch - Bangalore (Karnataka) - inaugurated by Mr. Shiva kumar, President, Peenya Industries Association

  3. 880th Branch - Bagayam (Tamil Nadu) - inaugurated by Mrs. Anitha, Joint Commissioner, HR & CE, Vellore

The new branches will provide the complete range of banking services that include retail and commercial banking products, insurance products through third party tie-ups, etc., The branches have been provided with an ATM, Cash Deposit Machine and Passbook printer for the convenience of its customers.  

KVB offers Internet Banking and Mobile Banking facilities.  KVB DLite, the Mobile Banking app of the Bank offers convenience of financial and non-financial services through 150+ features. The app has been recently upgraded with several customer friendly features.

Karur Vysya Bank has touch points in the form of 880 branches and 2200+ ATMs & cash recyclers. The Bank continues to grow with its strong financials.  The bank’s total business was Rs. 1,81,993 crores as on 31.12.2024 with a deposit base of Rs. 99,155 cr. and advances at Rs. 82,838 cr. The bank had posted its highest ever net profit of Rs. 1,605 cr. during the last financial year. The Net Profit for the nine months of the current fiscal was Rs. 1,428 crores.  Net NPA of the Bank was 0.20%.
