Tenure of Shri K. Satyanarayana Raju as MD & CEO of Canara Bank Ends in December 2025
Shri K. Satyanarayana Raju, MD & CEO of Canara Bank since February 2023, will conclude his term on December 31, 2025, after leading corporate, retail, MSME, and digital banking initiatives.
New Delhi: Shri K. Satyanarayana Raju, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Canara Bank, will conclude his term on December 31, 2025. Shri Raju took charge as MD & CEO on February 7, 2023, bringing over three decades of banking experience to the role.
A Physics graduate with a post-graduate degree in Business Administration (Banking & Finance) and CAIIB certification, Shri Raju has previously served at Vijaya Bank and Bank of Baroda, holding key leadership positions including Chief General Manager, Regional Head, and Zonal Head of Mumbai.
During his tenure as Executive Director at Canara Bank from March 10, 2021, he oversaw IT & digital banking, business analytics, compliance, priority credit, MSME and retail credit, corporate lending, financial inclusion, marketing, and public relations. He has also served on the boards of Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company Limited and Canara Computer Services Limited.
Shri Raju’s leadership has been pivotal in strengthening the bank’s corporate, retail, MSME, and digital banking operations, ensuring steady growth and modernization across all verticals.
