New Delhi, 22 August 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved ex-post facto assignment of additional charge of the post of Director General, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry to Shri Ajay Bhadoo, IAS (GJ:99), Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
The appointment has been made for a period from 21.04.2025 to 20.10.2025 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
An Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1999 batch from the Gujarat cadre, Shri Bhadoo brings over two decades of experience in policy formulation and implementation across diverse sectors, including urban infrastructure development.
