Appointment Committee of Cabinet approves extensions of three IAS officers

New Delhi:The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Personnel and Training for extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Secretary-cum-Controller of Examination (JS Level), National Recruitment Agency (NRA) to Shri P. Bala Kiran, IAS (KL:2008), Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, for a period of one year beyond 21.01.2026 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

Further, the government has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce for extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Secretary (JS Level), Spices Board to Ms P. Hemalatha, IAS (KN:2000), Development Commissioner, Cochin SEZ for a period of six months w.e.f. 24.01.2026 to 23.07.2026 or till appointment of a regular incumbent to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.

The government has also approved the proposal for extension in the Central deputation tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme of Ms. Navjot Khosa, IAS (KL: 2012), Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (OCR), Punjab & Chandigarh for a period beyond 31.03.2026 and up to 31.12.2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Ms. Navjot Khosa, IAS (KL 2012), is on central deputation w.e.f. 19-12-2022.
