LTIMindtree Partners NFDC for AI Cinema Showcase at India AI Impact Summit 2026
Mumbai, February 16, 2026: LTIMindtree Limited (LTM) has partnered with National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC) and Waves Bazaar to organise an AI Cinema Showcase at the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026.
The initiative, held under the aegis of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, aims to explore the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and cinematic storytelling.
Event Details
The India AI Impact Summit 2026 is being held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from February 16 to 20, 2026. The summit brings together policymakers, technology leaders, innovators, and creative professionals from India and across the globe.
As part of the summit, the AI Cinema Showcase will feature a curated collection of AI-driven short films created exclusively by Indian filmmakers — including individuals, collectives, studios, and students.
Selected films will be screened at the Immersive Room AI Theatre within the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting pavilion.

Promoting Responsible AI in Storytelling
The initiative aims to highlight filmmakers using Artificial Intelligence as a meaningful creative tool while promoting ethical, responsible, and human-centric AI applications.

This move extends the conversation around AI beyond policy and enterprise applications into the cultural and creative domain.
Building on Previous Success
The collaboration builds on the success of India’s first Artificial Intelligence Film Festival and Hackathon, which was conducted in November 2025 during the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa.
