NOIDA: In a move to enhance employee convenience and streamline access to essential government services, GAIL (India) Limited is hosting a Passport Seva Camp at its Jubilee Tower headquarters in Noida. The camp, which utilizes a specialized Passport Mobile Van, commenced on December 22nd and is scheduled to conclude on December 24th, 2025.

The initiative was formally inaugurated by Shri Anuj Swaroop, IFS and Regional Passport Officer (RPO), Ghaziabad. He was joined by Shri S.S. Agrawal, ED (O&M-CO) & OIC, Noida, along with the Executive Director (CSR & HR) and other senior officials.

On-Site Processing & Digital Integration

The camp is designed to bring the full functionality of a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) directly to the workplace. By deploying a mobile unit, the Regional Passport Office, Ghaziabad, has enabled a seamless workflow for GAIL staff and their dependents.

  • On-Site Verification: The Mobile Van is equipped to handle biometric data collection and physical document verification.

  • Streamlined Workflow: It processes online applications that were previously submitted by employees through the official Passport Seva Portal.

  • Direct Benefits: This eliminates the need for employees to visit distant passport offices, saving significant time and reducing administrative hurdles.

Participation and Reach

The initiative has seen a strong response, with 105 employees registered to avail of these services. By extending the facility to dependent family members, GAIL has reinforced its commitment to holistic employee well-being and corporate social responsibility within its internal community.
