IRCTC provides Six Golf Carts to Railway Stations under CSR
NEW DELHI . IRCTC is to provide 15 Golf Carts at different Railway Stations viz New Delhi, Delhi, Nizamuddin, Safdarjung, Varanasi, Bangalore, Amritsar, Haridwar, Kurukshetra & Lucknow, under the CSR initiative of the Corporation.
The purpose for providing these Golf Carts to Railway stations is to provide free services to the passengers who are in need of the same, like old age people, women, specially challenged people and others who require such kind of services for plying on the railway stations along with the luggage.
As on date total 6 Golf Carts have been delivered and are plying on the Railway Stations of Bangalore, New Delhi and Lucknow, providing free services to the passengers of Indian Railways. The Golf Cart at Bangalore was inaugurated by honourable Railway Minister, Shri Suresh Prabhu. Soon the remaining Golf Carts would be delivered to rest of the destined Railway Stations.
