Mahanagar Gas Opens Skill Training Centre in Latur to Empower Rural Youth
Maharashtra, June 13, 2026: Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has strengthened its commitment to skill development and community empowerment by inaugurating a new training centre in Ausa, Latur district, under its CSR initiative, MGL Hunar.
The centre, inaugurated on June 5, aims to provide free, employment-oriented training to rural youth and enhance their access to livelihood opportunities.
Free Vocational Training for Rural Communities
The skill development centre will offer industry-relevant courses in:
- Plumbing
- Mobile Repairing
- Data Entry Operations
- Business Correspondent Services
These programs are designed to equip participants with practical skills, improve employability, and encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment.
More Than 400 Youth Expected to Benefit
According to MGL, the initiative is expected to benefit over 400 young people from the Latur and Dharashiv districts.
