NTPC Dadri Hosts Two-Day Rural Sports Meet, Inspiring 465 Young Athletes
Dadri, 23 February 2026: The spirit of rural sports came alive at NTPC Dadri as a lively two-day Rural Sports Meet brought together young talent, determination, and community enthusiasm at the Maharana Pratap Stadium.
A total of 465 participants from nearby villages — 168 girls and 297 boys — competed across a range of events, including athletics, high jump, long jump, kho-kho, volleyball, and kabaddi. The stadium buzzed with energy as families, villagers, and NTPC employees cheered on every effort and celebrated each victory.
The closing ceremony was graced by Sh. A. K. Mishra, CGM & HoP (NTPC Dadri), along with senior officials, village pradhans, and community members. Winners and participants were felicitated for their spirited performances, acknowledging both skill and sportsmanship.
