Sambalpur, August 25, 2025: IIM Sambalpur, one of the premier management institutions, successfully hosted the national flagship talk show “Ideas Matter Most.” The two-day event, with the theme ““Navigating the Intersection of Tech and Entrepreneurship Towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047,” witnessed the participation of policymaker, education leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to deliberate on India’s growth trajectory.

With a mission to create a platform that champions the transformative power of ideas in shaping our world for the better. The talk show emphasized the importance of technology integration, research-led entrepreneurship, and value-based leadership in driving sustainable and inclusive growth.

With a focus on India’s demographic dividend, which, when empowered with future-ready skills, entrepreneurial opportunities, and robust academic-industry collaborations, will be the true catalyst for transformation. The exchange of ideas at IIM Sambalpur reaffirmed the institute’s growing role as a hub for thought leadership in management education, policy discourse, and national development.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Sujeet Kumar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Guest of Honour, Sahiba Nivritti Kumari, Mewar of Udaipur. Distinguished contributions also came from Dr. Suvrokamal Dutta (International Political, Economic & Foreign Policy Expert) and Sarika Singh (BBC Senior Presenter & Broadcast Journalist) and Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur. The event was presided over by Pranav Kumar, Founder of Ideas Matter Most, who has been the driving force behind creating this unique platform for idea-centric dialogue.


During the welcome address, Prof. Mahadeo Jaiswal, Director, IIM Sambalpur, stressed that IIMs must serve as knowledge partners in nation-building. He remarked that innovation, inclusiveness, and integrity, core values of IIM Sambalpur, are critical in preparing the next generation of leaders who will carry forward the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047. He said, “Designing and hosting high-impact discussions on business, technology, innovation, and social transformation reflects the institute’s commitment to Innovation, encouraging new ideas that can inspire action and build national consciousness. reach students, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders across the country. Moreover, through collaborative partnerships with academia, government, and industry reinforce the principle of Integrity, creating transparent, responsible, and impactful platforms that strengthen higher education and accelerate India’s journey towards Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”


Sharing his vision, Pranav Kumar, Founder of Ideas Matter Most, said, “Every idea matters to make a big impact. Through this platform, we aim to recognize and encourage diverse ideas and innovations that can pave the way for a brighter and developed India.” The event drew enthusiastic participation from students, innovators, entrepreneurs, academicians, and media representatives, establishing Ideas Matter Most as one of India’s
