Chennai, July 24, 2025: Indian Bank has announced its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2025-26, ending June 30, 2025. The Board of Directors approved the results in a meeting held today. These results highlight strong performance across key financial metrics.

Standalone Performance Highlights:

For the first quarter, Indian Bank reported a standalone net profit of Rs 2,956.07 crore, compared to Rs 2,403.42 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, which ended June 30, 2024.

The bank's total standalone income for the quarter was Rs 18,721.31 crore, an increase from Rs 16,944.77 crore in the same quarter last year. Operating profit before provisions and contingencies reached Rs 4,770.28 crore.

Key standalone ratios as of June 30, 2025:

- Gross Non-Performing Assets (NPAs): Decreased to 3.01% from 3.77% as of June 30, 2024.

- Net Non-Performing Assets (NPAs): Significantly reduced to 0.18% from 0.39% as of June 30, 2024.

- Capital Adequacy Ratio (Basel III): Improved to 17.80% from 16.47% as of June 30, 2024.

- Return on Assets (average, annualised): Stood at 1.34%.

Consolidated Performance Highlights:

On a consolidated basis, the bank recorded a net profit of Rs 2,276.37 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The total consolidated income reached Rs 18,905.60 crore for the quarter.

The consolidated Capital Adequacy Ratio (Basel III) was 17.99% as of June 30, 2025.

The Audit Committee of the Board reviewed the financial results, which were then approved by the Board of Directors in their meeting today. The meeting started at 12:30 Hrs and ended at 13:05 Hrs.
