JSW Energy Q3 FY26 Net Profit Surges 150% on Strong Revenue & Strategic Acquisitions
Mumbai: JSW Energy reported a robust performance for the third quarter of FY26, with its consolidated net profit more than doubling year-on-year, driven by significant contributions from recent acquisitions and strong operational growth.
Key Financial Highlights (Q3 FY26 vs Q3 FY25):

Consolidated Net Profit: ₹419.94 crore, up 150.21% from ₹167.83 crore.

Revenue from Operations: ₹4,081.76 crore, a jump of 67.36%.

EBITDA: ₹2,202 crore, up 97.48%, primarily fueled by contributions from the acquired Mahanadi thermal plant and the O2 Power portfolio.

Acquisition Boost: The Mahanadi plant contributed approximately ₹726 crore to EBITDA, while the O2 Power portfolio added ₹278 crore.

Volume Growth: Total power sale volumes rose 65% YoY to 11,118 MUs, with long-term PPA sales up 63%.

Green Milestone: The company commissioned India's largest green hydrogen plant at Vijayanagar, with a capacity of 3,800 tonnes per annum (TPA).

Sharad Mahendra, Joint MD & CEO, stated, "We delivered a strong quarterly performance... The quarter was a milestone for us with the commissioning of India's largest green hydrogen plant... We remain firmly committed to our 2030 goals of 30 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of storage."
