DBS BANK Appoints Audrey Kuah as Group Head of Marketing and Communications
Singapore, January 2026 DBS Bank has announced the appointment of Audrey Kuah as its new Group Head of Marketing and Communications, marking a major leadership transition within the organisation. Audrey is building on the strong foundation that Karen has laid .
Kuah brings more than twenty five years of global experience across digital transformation, data led strategy and artificial intelligence driven marketing. She is expected to strengthen DBS’s integrated marketing framework and further advance its One Bank One Brand vision through consistent, impactful communications aligned with the bank’s long term goals.

In her new role, Kuah will oversee all marketing and communications operations across the group, including business and performance marketing, brand strategy, enterprise content, internal communications and external relations. All these functions are now consolidated under the Group Marketing and Communications division. She will report to Derrick Goh, Group Chief Operating Officer of DBS.
Prior to joining DBS, Kuah served as Asia Pacific co chief executive of VML following the merger of Wunderman Thompson and VML, where she led large scale transformation initiatives using data and advanced technology. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles with global firms such as J Walter Thompson, Dentsu and WPP, as well as leadership positions in the financial sector at Citi, Standard Chartered and OCBC.
Her professional background includes pioneering work in predictive analytics, artificial intelligence driven sales modelling and data innovation, including collaborations with public sector institutions on digital advancement programmes.
The leadership change follows Karen Ngui’s decision to step aside from the marketing role to focus fully on her responsibilities as Head of DBS Foundation. In this capacity, she will continue leading the bank’s social impact strategy, including employee volunteer initiatives under the DBS People of Purpose programme.
Ngui said that the transition represents a new chapter after more than twenty years of shaping the DBS brand through both growth and crisis. She expressed confidence in the future of the organisation’s social mission and reiterated the foundation’s focus on supporting vulnerable communities, encouraging inclusion and strengthening purpose driven enterprises across Asia.
The appointment of Kuah signals DBS’s continued commitment to innovation, brand leadership and purpose driven growth as the bank positions itself for the next phase of its transformation.
