PESB hunts for next Director (Mining) for Hindustan Copper Ltd
The Director (Mining) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director. He will be responsible for the planning, development, production, and operation of the opencast/underground mine plants of the company.

New Delhi, 26 August 2025: After a couple of extensions granted to Shri Sanjeev Kumar Sinha to the post of Director (Mining) of Hindustan Copper Ltd until 21.09.2025, the Public Enterprise Selection Board has now invited applications for the selection of any new incumbent. Shri Sanjeev Sinha has already been serving as Director (Operations) of the company.
Sinha has been holding the additional charge since March 2025.
The Director (Mining) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to the Chairman and Managing Director. He will be responsible for the planning, development, production, and operation of the opencast/underground mine plants of the company.
He will be required to participate in all policymaking decisions and oversee and control all matters relating to mining.
