BEL Signs MoU with Instapower to Boost Railway, Aviation & EMS Capabilities

NEW DELHI: State-owned defence electronics major Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Instapower Limited, an organisation recognised as an R&D house by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.

The MoU was signed in New Delhi by Mr Abhijit Rai Vaish, Executive Director of Instapower Limited, and Mr Prahalad P.S., General Manager (Civilian Marketing) at BEL. The collaboration is aimed at jointly pursuing emerging business opportunities that involve advanced and cutting-edge technologies across the Railway and Aviation sectors, as well as Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).

Under this partnership, BEL’s strong expertise in defence electronics, large-scale system integration, and programme execution will be combined with Instapower’s capabilities in electronics design, development, and manufacturing. The association is expected to enhance BEL’s presence in non-defence segments, particularly railways and aviation, while also strengthening its EMS offerings.

The collaboration reflects BEL’s continued focus on expanding its technology portfolio and leveraging partnerships with innovation-driven Indian companies to address evolving market requirements across multiple high-growth sectors.
