New Delhi:  Taking a major step towards strengthening India’s electric vehicle ecosystem, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors at India Energy Week 2026 to jointly develop India’s biggest Mega EV Charging and Engagement Hubs.

The MoU was signed by Shri Gorav, Chief General Manager (Marketing), Retail HQ, BPCL, and Shri Vivek Srivatsa, Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEML), in the presence of Shri Pardeep Goyal, Business Head (Retail), BPCL.

Under the collaboration, BPCL and Tata Motors will set up large, high-capacity EV charging hubs at select BPCL retail outlets across the country. These hubs will feature fast-charging infrastructure along with dedicated customer engagement zones, aimed at improving convenience, reducing charging time, and enhancing the overall EV ownership experience.

The initiative aligns with BPCL’s strategy to build future-ready mobility infrastructure and support India’s transition to cleaner transportation. For Tata Motors, the partnership strengthens its focus on expanding charging accessibility for its growing portfolio of electric passenger vehicles.

The collaboration also highlights India Energy Week’s role as a key platform for unveiling scalable, consumer-centric solutions that bridge the gap between energy transition goals and real-world mobility needs.
