GAIL signs MoU for healthcare infrastructure in Varanasi

New Delhi: Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, GAIL (India) Limited has signed an MoU worth Rs 6.64 crores with Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust (HLFPPT) to enhance the medical facilities of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital, Ramnagar, in coordination with Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office, Varanasi.

The partnership will provide 219 advanced medical equipment, including an Anesthesia Work Station, CB NAAT Machine, Arthroscopy System, Fundus Camera, and Anaesthesian ENT Operating Microscope — significantly upgrading diagnostic and treatment capabilities for critical care services.

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by Shri Prakhar Kumar Singh, Chief Development Officer (CDO), Varanasi, and Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, Chief Medical Officer, Varanasi, Shri Sushil Kumar, GM (CGD) Varanasi - OIC, GAIL, along with officials from GAIL and HLFPPT.
