Hindustan Zinc to Develop Gora Badal Sports Stadium in Chittorgarh

New Delhi:  Hindustan Zinc Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Chittorgarh district administration to develop the Gora Badal Sports Stadium into a modern, multi-purpose sports complex, reinforcing its commitment to youth empowerment and community development.

The proposed facility will be designed as a shared community asset, aimed at creating accessible opportunities for youth from rural and surrounding communities to participate in sports, physical fitness, and structured training programmes. Once developed, the stadium is expected to play a key role in encouraging healthy lifestyles while also helping identify and nurture grassroots sporting talent.

Officials said the upgraded sports complex will support a wide range of sporting activities and training infrastructure, enabling aspiring athletes to pursue disciplined development pathways close to home. The initiative is aligned with broader efforts to strengthen social infrastructure and promote inclusive growth through sports.
