NMDC Partners with IIT Kanpur for Cybersecurity MoU
NMDC signs MoU with IIT Kanpur to strengthen cybersecurity through risk assessment, SOC benchmarking, and incident response planning.
New Delhi: NMDC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Kanpur to enhance its cybersecurity capabilities. The agreement was signed by Mr. Satyendra Rai, Executive Director (Digital Transformation) at NMDC, and Prof. Ashoke De, Dean of R&D at IIT Kanpur, in the presence of Prof. Manindra Agrawal, Director of IIT Kanpur, along with senior officials from NMDC and representatives from IIT Kanpur.
Under this collaboration, IIT Kanpur will assist NMDC in conducting comprehensive cyber risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and benchmarking of Security Operations Centre (SOC) models. The partnership will also focus on strengthening security governance and planning for effective incident response.
This strategic initiative is aimed at fortifying NMDC’s digital infrastructure and aligning its cybersecurity practices with industry best standards.
