RailTel and Microsoft Forge Five-Year Strategic Partnership to Drive AI Innovation

RailTel and Microsoft have entered a transformative five-year strategic partnership to drive AI innovation in the Government sector, enabling population-scale impact. This collaboration aims to advance digital, cloud, and AI transformation by establishinganAICenter of Excellence (CoE) with Microsoft’s support, positioning RailTel as an AI-first organisation and a leading systems integrator (SI) partner.

The partnership also includes a comprehensive skilling initiative under Microsoft’s AI National Skills Initiative and Enterprise Skilling Initiative, designed to equip RailTel employees with expertise in next-generation digital, cloud, and AI technologies.

Additionally, the two companies will jointly develop AI solutions, with Microsoft offering technical guidance to shape product roadmaps. Talking about this partnership, Sh. Sanjai Kumar, CMD/RailTel said, “By leveragingMicrosoft's expertise in cloud, productivity, and AI on one hand and RailTel’s resources& know-how on the other hand, we aim to drive innovation and efficiency across various public sector/Government entities. Microsoft Chairman and CEO Sri Satya Nadella also mentioned this partnership during his recent keynote address in New Delhi to industry leaders from various sectors of the Indian economy.
