ACC Extends Terms for Eight Senior Additional Secretaries

New Delhi, November 27, 2025: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved a series of extensions for the temporary upgradation of senior bureaucratic posts from Joint Secretary/Director level to the Additional Secretary level across numerous Ministries and Departments.
This move ensures continuity and stable leadership for key officials, with the extensions granted for varying terms up to late 2026.
Upgradation and Tenure Extensions Approved by ACC
The following officers have received an extension for the temporary upgradation of their posts to the level of Additional Secretary:
