BHEL announces appointment of Independent Directors on Board
BHEL appoints Shri Ashok Aseri and Shri Aashish Chaturvedi as Independent Directors on its Board for a one-year term, effective 29.03.2025, as announced in the company's official filing.
Shri Ashok Aseri and Shri Aashish Chaturvedi have been appointed as Independent Directors on the Board of BHEL w.e.f. 29.03.2025, for a period of one year, from the date of notification of their appointment (i.e. 28.03.2025), or untill further orders, whichever is earlier, the company stated through filing.
Shri Ashok Aseri has been appointed as an Independent Director on the Board of BHEL w.e.f. 29.03.2025. He is an engineering graduate from Jai Narayan Vyas University Jodhpur and holds an MBA in Human Resources from Punjab Technical University. Shri Aseri also served as an Independent Director at STC India Ltd.
Shri Aseri specializes in Management and Administration. He began his career at a young age in consultancy, taking on various responsibilities at different levels, and has gained valuable experience across multiple sectors.

Shri Aashish Chaturvedi is a B.Tech. in Textile Technology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi(2000 Batch). Shri Chaturvedi’s area of specialization includes Management and Administration. He started his career at a very young age as a software programmer.
He worked in corporate for a period of one and half years in Mumbai & UK. He also worked in the education sector in Ajmer for 16 years, thousands of his students graduated from IITs, NITs, AIIMS and other prestigious colleges of India. He, at present, is involved in diversified professions in Textiles, Industrial real estate and agriculture.
At present he is also a Columnist in a reputed newspaper. Shri Chaturvedi held the position of Independent Director on the board of Bridge & Roof Company (India) Ltd.
