Cmde Indrajit Dasgupta Appointed Executive Director of GRSE

Kolkata, March 24, 2026: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), a government-owned shipbuilding company under the Ministry of Defence, has announced the appointment of Cmde Indrajit Dasgupta, IN (Retd.) as Executive Director (ED) effective March 23, 2026. Concurrently, he has resigned from his post as Chief General Manager (CGM) with immediate effect.

Cmde Dasgupta, a distinguished retired Indian Navy officer, joined GRSE on March 1, 2023, as Project Superintendent (FT) in the CGM (E-8) grade. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, an M.Sc in Defence and Strategic Studies, and a Master of Management Studies, bringing over 35 years of experience in the Indian Navy and three years at GRSE. At GRSE, he oversaw functions related to NSG-30, SR, and TU.

The announcement was made in accordance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and the company has forwarded the resignation acceptance to all relevant authorities.
