Government Appoints B.K. Jain as Part-time Director on RVNL Board

New Delhi, January 22, 2026: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has announced the appointment of Shri B.K. Jain, Executive Director/L&A, Railway Board, as a Part-Time Government Director on its Board. The appointment comes into effect immediately and will continue as long as he holds the post of Executive Director/L&A, Railway Board, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The appointment was approved by the President of India, following a recommendation from the Ministry of Railways vide order no. 2022/PL/57/10 dated January 20, 2026. The formal intimation was received by RVNL on January 22, 2026, and necessary disclosures and formalities are being completed in compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The addition of Shri B.K. Jain to the RVNL Board is aimed at strengthening the representation of the Government of India on the Board and ensuring close coordination between RVNL and Railway Board operations, particularly in strategic planning and project execution.
