IFS Officer Esha Srivastava joins Indian Oil as Government Nominee Director

New Delhi: The Indian Foreign Service Officer of 2004 Batch Ms. Esha Srivastava has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on Indian Oil Board with effect from 20th June 2025. She is presently posted as Joint Secretary (International Cooperation) in Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG). Ms. Srivastava is an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi, and also holds an M. Phil Degree in Political Science from Delhi University. She is also a Gold Medalist from Delhi University.

Prior to her appointment in the MoP&NG, she has served as the Deputy Chief of Mission in the Indian Embassy in Thimphu from November 2016 to January 2019. Before that, she was posted in the Ministry of External Affairs. She has also served in High Commission of India in Colombo, and in the Embassy of India, Paris and in the Permanent Delegation of India to UNESCO.

She is currently a nominee Director on the Board of ONGC Videsh Ltd. and Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Ltd. She has also been a Nominee Director on the Board of GAIL (India) Ltd., Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd., and Bharat Petro Resources Ltd.
